Hello, Neighbors!!

Can you believe April has come and gone, and it's almost time for summer vacation and our annual Family Center Picnic, again?! We sure can't believe the school year has gone by this fast!

First, Miss Ashley and Miss Becky would like to remind everyone that there are still two more days to sign-up up for Summer Camp at the Family Center for children entering 1st through 8th grade next school year. See the flyer below for those dates and times.

Second, Our newsletter looks just a little bit different this month because we have so many beautiful photos to share with you!

All of our groups have been working very hard and creating some wonderful memories! We hope you will enjoy the photos and join us to make more memories this month!

We are also very excited to announce that our ISAC (Immigrant Services And Connections) Team is full staffed again, so you will see some new faces around the center! You can get to know a little about Eric, Jackie, and Olivia below!

Just a reminder, the center is open for walk-in services Monday-Thursday 9am-4pm and Fridays by appointment only. If you need to meet with a specific staff, like Miss Dawn, please call ahead to make an appointment.

Our Parent Advisory Council (or PAC for short) held a fun filled Carnival for families on May 5th! Families got to play, get their faces painted, enjoy cotton candy and popcorn, and learn more about what the PAC does all year at the center.

Netra's Dad's Group met on May 5th for Fatherhood Group and afterwards enjoyed a Big Daddy Pizza to celebrate all their hard work!

Our Women's Group learned how to bake and decorate two-layered cakes and cupcakes!

SHIM’s running club took on the Pittsburgh 5K! We are very thankful for all the support from the mentors and volunteers who helped the kids finish the race.

Casey held a Growth and Learning Assessment Day for our families' little ones!

The Family Center Food Pantry days for 2023 are now available. Please feel free to save this photo to your phone or pick up a paper of the calendar from the front office Monday-Thursday from 9:00am to 4:00pm.
