Head Varsity Baseball Coach
We welcome Dave Stewart ’07 back to Vianney this summer as Head Varsity Baseball Coach and faculty member. He coached the 2019 Missouri Class 5 Baseball State Champions and was named Coach of the Year. The Metro Catholic Conference (MCC) also named him Coach of the Year in 2017.

Coach Stewart was a member of Vianney’s state championship volleyball team in 2004 and state championship baseball team in 2006. He played Division I Baseball at the University of Nebraska and was named Big 12 Player of the Week and Freshman All-American in 2008. He went on to play in the Cincinnati Reds organization in 2009. Vianney looks forward to Coach Stewart’s contributions in the classroom and on the baseball diamond.

We thank Coach Scott Brown and our seniors as they compete in their final season of baseball at Vianney. Their commitment is an inspiration to the Griffins who follow in their footsteps.

Blessed William Joseph Chaminade
Charity does not suspect evil (1 Cor 13:5). Judge not, and you shall not be judged (Lk 6:37). Do not judge according to appearances (Jn 7:24). . . . Rash judgment, one which is unfair to our neighbor and which is not based on any sufficient legitimate reason. There seem to be three degrees of rash judgment: doubt, suspicion, and judgment. They are contrary to justice and charity."
We ask that you keep the following members of our school community in your prayers:
  • Jack Prange '21
  • Faculty John Mohr
  • Jack Higgins '25
  • Board Member Rev. Msgr. Jack Costello
  • Andrew Knirr '21
  • Karen Gauvain, wife of faculty Dave Gauvain
We invite you to submit prayer requests, including any special intentions.
