FAMILY CONNECTION | March 26, 2020
We thank you for your flexibility with our launch of distance learning this week. We will continue distance learning through at least Wednesday, April 22, in line with schools in St. Louis County, St. Louis City, and the Archdiocese of St. Louis.

We ask students and parents to complete a short survey by Saturday about your distance learning experience to date. The feedback you provide will help us continue to build the program in the weeks ahead.
NO SCHOOL | March 30
There will be no assignments, postings, or online discussions Monday, March 30. Students should use the time to complete existing assignments. The faculty will be taking the day to recalibrate classes as needed, based on your feedback from the student and parent survey.

EASTER BREAK | April 8-13
We will still observe Easter Break from Wednesday, April 8 through Monday, April 13, with no new assignments posted during this time.
Distance Learning Tips
As we prepare to complete our first week of distance learning, please review the tips offered by your counselors . And, don't forget to connect with your counselors and learning consultants if you need help.
Special Delivery | Pretzel Boy's
We have teamed up with locally-owned Pretzel Boy's for a special delivery to all Vianney students, faculty, and staff the week of March 30. This is a gift from President Mike Loyet '77 to acknowledge your extraordinary work under extraordinary conditions. The 572 orders we placed means Pretzel Boy's can keep more of its staff e mployed with owner Tim Garvey paying it forwar d by donating more than 1,000 pretzels to an area food pantry in Vianney's name .
Vianney Family Restaurants
Those in the restaurant industry have been hit particularly hard by the pandemic. We have started a list of restaurants owned by Vianney families that may offer delivery and/or curbside service. If you have restaurants to add to our list, please contact Mike Mantia '92 at .
The Magic of Music
Quinten Bachman '22 was featured by Fox2Now for sharing his musical gift this week with neighbors in quarantine.

Giving blood is deemed essential under the Homeland Security Act and does not violate Shelter In Place orders. Visit Mercy's website to schedule a private appointment as blood banks are facing a national shortage.
ACC Courses
Drury, Missouri State, SLU, and UMSL have confirmed that our students are still eligible for college credit as we transition to distance learning .

AP Courses
With the support of colleges, AP has adjusted its national exams as we transition to distance learning. Students will take a 45-minute online exam from home. There will be two different testing dates offered per subject. We will have more details after April 3 when AP finalizes its plans.
