Many of our Seniors continue their faith journey this week at Kairos. Kairos is the ancient Greek word for the "opportune moment." The retreat at King’s House Retreat & Renewal Center gives our students time to discover and discern their relationship with God.
Parents' Club Meeting
Our second Parents' Club meeting of the school year is tonight, November 7, at 7 pm in Griffins' Cafe. We will host a speaker on Student Stress.
Father-Son Banquet
We invite students and their fathers for our annual Father-Son Banquet Wednesday, November 13, at Orlando's on Hoffmeister. The guest speaker is alum and father of three sons Dr. Joseph Ojile '77, founder, chief executive officer, and medical director of Clayton Sleep Institute . The cost is $90 for the first two registrants and $30 for each additional son attending. Please register by November 10.
Canned Food Drive
Our National Honor Society is hosting its annual Thanksgiving Canned Food Drive on Friday, November 15, to support the less fortunate. Students who bring at least FIVE canned goods will earn a Dress Down Day on Friday, November 15. NHS members will be in the commons before school to collect your donation.
Griffin Theatre
Griffin Theatre presents "Peter and the Starcatcher" November 14-16 at 7:30 pm and November 17 at 2 pm. T he play is based on a 2004 novel that provides a backstory for the characters of Peter Pan, Mrs. Darling, Tinker Bell, and Captain Hook. Tickets are $4 for senior citizens and students and $5 for all others. Call 314-965-4853 ext. 763 for tickets or order them online.
Parent Giving Challenge
The Griffin Fund Parent Giving Challenge is gaining momentum as we approach #GivingTuesday on December 3. If you have already made your gift or pledge, thank you! If not, NOW is the time.

El Salvador Trip | Applications Due
Have you considered completing your junior Social Service Project while visiting El Salvador? Campus Ministry is offering a trip May 11–May 21, 2020. Applications are due by Wednesday, November 20. Please contact Kevin Becvar at kbecvar@vianney.com if you have any questions.

Mike Colombo '04 with Fox2Now  featured our Cybersecurity students at their service project with the residents of Our Lady of Life Independent Living Apartments. Our students led by Dan Didier showed senior citizens how to protect themselves online in a project we call Cybergenerations .
