The faculty and staff joined the students in celebrating Halloween with President Mike "Dorothy" Loyet challenging departments to dress in theme.
All Saints' Mass | 2 pm Dismissal
We celebrate the Feast of All Saints at our all-school Mass tomorrow, November 1, at 9:50 am. We will pray in particular for the dearly departed submitted for our Book of Remembrance. S tudents should be in dress shirt, tie, dress pants, and belt. We will dismiss early at 2 pm.
Open House
Invite your family and friends to join us for Open House Sunday, November 3, 11:30 am-4 pm. They will experience our family spirit firsthand as a student ambassador takes them on a personal tour of our scenic 37-acre campus.

Father-Son Banquet
We invite students and their fathers for our annual Father-Son Banquet Wednesday, November 13, at Orlando's on Hoffmeister. The guest speaker is alum and father of three sons Dr. Joseph Ojile '77, founder, chief executive officer, and medical director of Clayton Sleep Institute . The cost is $90 for the first two registrants and $30 for each additional son attending. Please register by November 10.
Jewelry Party
Want to add a little sparkle to your holiday season? The Vianney Alumni Mothers' Club is hosting a Park Lane jewelry party Wednesday, November 6, at 6:30 pm in the Media Center. If you can’t attend, please consider making a purchase online. All proceeds support the Night of the Griffin Auction.

Virtual Bookstore
Our virtual bookstore partner has changed its name from MBS Direct to BNC K–12. Beginning Monday, November 4, there is a new website to order textbooks. Please add to your address book to ensure delivery of emails from the company.

No Shave November
Student Council is sponsoring its 2nd Annual "No Shave November." The event is a fundraiser for Greater St. Louis Honor Flight . All students are welcome to participate if they purchase a "No Shave November" bracelet for $10 and wear the bracelet to school November 5-26. Students not participating must continue to follow the school policy for facial hair. Contact Jeremy Remiger at   if you have any questions.

National Honor Society
Families of our National Honor Society inductees are invited to the Induction Mass Wednesday, November 6, at 7:30 am in the Activity Center. We will serve donuts and coffee after the ceremony.
Service Opportunities
Students can now support TASK on Wednesdays. The mission of  Team Activities for Special Kids , or TASK, is to provide kids with special needs athletic and social opportunities. Vianney will offer transportation to/from TASK after school and up to five service hours per evening. Visit our website to learn more about TASK as well as service opportunities abroad.
Parent Network Speaker
The Parent Network of Catholic High Schools in Saint Louis invites parents to hear Sarah Swafford, the founder of Emotional Virtue Ministries. She will present at Visitation Academy on Tuesday, November 5, at 7 pm. Learn how to navigate your relationship with your teenager and build his interior confidence. Sarah is a graduate of Benedictine College and involved in ministry for more than a decade.
Parents' Club Meeting
Our second Parents' Club meeting of the school year is Thursday, November 7, at 7 pm in Griffins' Cafe. We will host a speaker on Student Stress.
Join us for Lt. Dan Riordan Trivia Night which benefits the scholarship fund established in his memory. Doors open at 6 pm on Saturday, November 9, with trivia beginning at 7 pm. Visit the registration page to reserve tables for ten and for sponsorship opportunities.
Griffin Theatre
Griffin Theatre presents "Peter and the Starcatcher" November 14-16 at 7:30 pm and November 17 at 2 pm. T he play is based on a 2004 novel that provides a backstory for the characters of Peter Pan, Mrs. Darling, Tinker Bell, and Captain Hook. Senior Quilt Squares

Students traveled to Ireland in October to learn about its educational system and immerse themselves in the culture. Ben Gansner , Billy Madden , Jon Davis , Tyler Foerstel , Otto Ottiger , and Grant Spinks were led by Nate Stein and Mike Paradoski . They visited St. Laurence College, Rock of Cashel, Glenstal Abbey, and the Cliffs of Moher.

 Fr. Brian Fallon looks behind the "masks" to the real significance of our upcoming feast days. Fr. Fallon is Vocation Director for the Archdiocese of Saint Louis and serves as our school chaplain.
