At the Early Learning Coalition of Broward County we are working hard to provide tools and resources to you as well as the hundreds of child care providers that contract with us, to assist in providing alternative options for your child's care. We hope to have more details on these alternative learning options soon.

Florida Prepaid 529 Summer Savings 
We know the past few months have been hard for you and your parents, with school and lots of other fun activities closing! But a college education is something to keep looking forward to! In the brighter days ahead, and even the smallest amounts saved now can add up to a lot of possibility for your child’s future.

That’s why Florida Prepaid College Savings Plans is encouraging families this summer to start saving for college with a Florida 529 Savings Plan, offering to contribute up to $50 into newly opened accounts. A Florida 529 Savings Plan is an investment account that provides a flexible and tax-free way to save for college.

Child care is an essential part of the response to the COVID-19 pandemic and subsequent recovery efforts. The Child Care and Development Fund (CCDF) continues to provide funding to state, territory and tribal governments during the pandemic to provide support for children and their families with paying for child care.
