These past several months have been unprecedented and challenging, but families have stepped up more than ever to support their children' education. This Family Engagement Month, we want to honor the work you've been doing to support your school's hardworking families!
We invite you to share your stories with us and have your school considered for a Family Engagement Mini-Grant!
Here's What the Mini-Grant Entails:
• The top four entries will be chosen to receive $1,000 for a purchase from a District-approved Oracle vendor.
• If selected, principals will work with the FACE Office to complete everything necessary for the purchase.
Here's how your school can enter to win:
1. Tell us the name of your school and roughly how many students you currently serve.
2. Submit at least two (2) pictures of you or your staff engaging with families during digital learning, either in-person (ex. at a supply pick-up) or virtually.
3. Answer the following questions in 150 words or less:
  • What innovative strategies have your staff been using to engage families during digital learning?
  • What words of encouragement/advice do you have for Philadelphia families to remain enthusiastic about being engaged in their child's education in this unique environment?
Submissions with all requirements listed are due through the Google Form linked below by Wednesday, October 21, 2020 in order to be entered into contest for the mini-grant.
