The plan of succession in a family enterprise is critical to its success, but it can be a difficult topic. This weekend we have some fun and provocative ways to look at the issue.
- Nina's Heavenly Delights. After running away to London for three years to escape an arranged marriage, Nina is forced to return to Glasgow to run her late father’s curry house.
- Uncorked. Elijah is a young man that is faced with the hard decision to choose between his dreams of becoming a sommelier or continuing his father’s legacy at the family owned BBQ restaurant in Memphis.
- Buddenbrooks. A classic that follows succession (and more) across four generations in 19th century Germany.
