Data Security for Changing Staff
Whether it be from spring to summer, summer to the school year, one contract year to the next, or a new funding cycle, every transition brings changes in staff. As a reminder, Trust-funded providers are required to promote best practices in data access and security within their organizations. To assist in this endeavor, providers are encouraged to add an item to your new-hire checklist to give new staff access to Trust Central and assign their roles/positions under the current contract so they have access to Trust Academy LMS. Similarly, when an employee decides to leave your organization, the exit process should include the removal of access and deactivation of accounts in all technology systems (emails, Trust Central, etc.). The Agency Admin has all the steps needed on The Children’s Trust Trust Central Support page.
