In order to continue ongoing support and education, NAMI Virginia is excited to offer online programs that are available statewide. Online Support Groups- NAMI Family Support Group For Parents of Children 17 and Under- NEW: This is a free, peer-led support for parents of children living with mental health challenges.
This resource offers tips to support your child’s learning at home during the COVID-19 pandemic. As a parent, what is my role, and what can I do to best support my child’s education? Topics include: What Is My Role?, How Do I Get My Child Ready To Learn?, How Do I Find Out What My Child Should Be Learning?, How Can I Support My Child in Reading?

This AT Network of Virginia recorded webinar explores how to make several low-tech AT tools through easy steps with common items and materials that can found around the house. The presenters demonstrate the steps to assemble low tech tools during the webinar, identify the simple tools you will need, and share the materials lists and directions needed for you to create each item yourself!
