A race for every pace!

Get the whole family in on the fun! Our weekend of events has a race for every pace and every age.

The weekend kicks off at Neuroscience Group Field beginning at 4 p.m. with events for the youngest participants.

The Huggies® Diaper Dash and Toddler Trot

Your little crawlers can scooch their way across the length of a track and win Huggies® brand products. Or if your little one is already on their feet, sign them up for the Toddler Trot to let them toddle through an on-field obstacle course.

The Guardian Kids Fun Run

Young participants looking for the next challenge can be registered for the Guardian Kids Fun Run, a race featuring three courses (Mini-Dash, ¼ Mile Race and ½ Mile Race) around the warning track of Neuroscience Group Field.

Our kid-focused events are designed so every child leaves feeling like a winner, sporting a one-of-a-kind finisher medal and learning the value of having fun while exercising!

Want to join the fun with your young participant?

Keep in mind that the Ascension 5K Run/Walk is pet and stroller friendly and is the perfect opportunity to participate with friends and family of all skill levels! The 5K takes place on Saturday morning, so grab the whole family and get out there! Stroller participants do not have to be registered to enjoy the race.

NEW Sure-Dry Shoutout Board is ready to inspire!

New this year, we are thrilled to present the Sure-Dry Shoutout Board, a video board featured along Sunday's courses that will allow friends and family of participants to cheer them on during the final few miles of the ThedaCare Half Marathon and Community First Fox Cities Marathon! The video messages on the Sure-Dry Shoutout Board are triggered by the time chips on each participant’s racing bib when they cross a certain threshold along the half and full marathon courses. This is the only running race in Wisconsin to feature a shoutout board, and it’s just one more way to bring the community together.

Family and friends of race participants can record a simple 5-10 second message of encouragement that will help them get to the finish line on race day.

IT'S TIME TO GET CRAFTY!

Are you not ready to be on the course but still want to get involved on race weekend? One of our favorite things is seeing the signs that spectators hold up as they pass by on the course. From motivational to humorous, creating and holding up signs is a great way to cheer on our participants and show your community spirit. As you’re crafting your signs, don’t forget to grab a photo and post it on Facebook or Instagram with the hashtag #FoxCitiesMarathon.
