Teen Night at Red Morton

Redwood City Parks and Recreation, in partnership with the P.A.C.E program, presents Red Morton Teen Takeover. Teens Red Morton is shutting down for everyone but you! Enjoy a night of baseball pick-up games, fitness center, and more!

Conectémonos! Community Technology Help Desk

The ¡Conectémonos! Technology Help Desk is open every Monday, 6-7:30pm at the NFO Library. Summer is a great time to learn! Get help with you technology needs including help with emails, installing software, and more!

Free Pet Vaccination

Partners in Animal Welfare has partnered with the Redwood City Parks, Recreation and Community Services department to host a free pet vaccination clinic next Saturday, July 15 from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the Fair Oaks Community Center.

Free Mobile Recreation

Join Redwood City Parks and Recreation for some FUN IN THE SUN at the local parks this summer! Climb the Rock Wall; Learn to Skate or Scoot in our Mobile Skate Park; Make a delicious smoothie on our Blender Bike; Challenge a new friend to a giant-size lawn game; or play in our Inflatable Court!

SUHSD Summer Vision Program

The SUHSD schools are hosting a summer vision program for the community. This event is open to all school-aged children to provide them with a free eye exam and free glasses, if needed. The glasses also have a one-year warranty.

Health and Harmony Festival

Get excited for this year's Health & Harmony Festival! Meet new friends, enjoy live music, and learn more about all the local resources available in our community.

We are excited to announce that Public health, Policy, and Planning of San Mateo County Health are now accepting applications for the EMS Corps Fall Cohort. San Mateo County Health continues to partner with the Emergency Medical Services Corps Program (EMS Corps) of Alameda County to recruit young adults from underrepresented groups and those with barriers to employment or education in San Mateo County, and train them to pursue a career in healthcare or public services

Individuals in San Mateo County that are recipients of Medi-Cal, CalFresh, and San Mateo County Access and Care for Everyone (ACE) benefits are eligible for a free Parks annual pass! To learn more, contact the San Mateo County Human Services Agency at 650-508-3200.

Functional Fitness & Balance Class

Join the Sequoia YMCA for a low-impact workout that incorporates gentle resistance and balance exercises. Improve your cardiovascular endurance and build muscle strength. Appropriate for beginners and older adults.


Classes are on Thursdays from 9-9:45 AM and are free.

Do you have verifications to submit for Medi-Cal, CalFresh, General Assistance, and/or CAPI? Click HERE for the QR code to start submitting your verifications online.

Caltrain Go Pass

The Caltrain Go Pass provides free train trips on Caltrain between any zone at any time. Approved applicants will receive a special Clipper Card loaded with the Go Pass. This card must be used to tag on and off at the Caltrain Stations for valid use.

Go Passes are valid until 12/31/23 with limited supply.

Health Coverage Unit

Low and mid income San Mateo County residents or SMMC patients can apply for the Health Coverage Unit. Application assistance is available for both in person and phone appointments.

Mobile Clinic

Need health care assistance? The mobile clinic offers high quality services to anyone with our without medical insurance. Some of the services provided are urgent care, screenings, vaccinations, family planning, needle exchange and much more!
