JANUARY, 2020

We are excited to launch an electronic newsletter as we start 2020! This bi-monthly update will inform you on events, give you resources and share member news. We strive to strengthen and support this vibrant community of family and closely held businesses that are the backbone of our region.  We welcome your comments and want your input.

The Small Business Development Center  and the FBA are partnering to present “ Medical Marijuana in the Workplace” We will be looking at this new issue from three perspectives, legal, human resources, and psychological health.  Marijuana is currently legal, on the state level, in 29 states, and in Washington, DC. It is still illegal from the federal government’s perspective. Is it safe? Should it be legal? Decriminalized? Has its effectiveness been proven? Is it addictive? How does it affect your business?

Register all in your firm that you think will benefit.
