Family Meeting this Sunday

Dear Church,

Thank you to everyone who participated in our Building Needs Listening Sessions and online Survey. The number crunching has concluded, and we received more than 1,500 pieces of feedback from roughly 200 participants. Wow!

The congregation has identified certain spaces within our church that are serving our mission well, some which we value but which could be significantly improved, and others that need some serious attention. Consensus has emerged around what characteristics we appreciate most about our current building, and what characteristics we would like to cultivate. It is clear that we love our building, but also that it needs love.

Please join us this Sunday, April 28th after the second service, as we share with you the findings of our building needs assessment.

We’ll highlight what people love about our building, the major pain points in the day-to-day experience of our building that were identified, and the solutions that have been proposed. Church leaders will outline suggestions for next steps toward a 2024 Capital Campaign in the Fall and seek affirmation from the congregation to move forward, by an informal show-of-hands.

God has blessed us with this space, and he’s blessed us with your perspectives. We hope you’ll join us!

Lunch and childcare will be provided. Bring a dessert to share! We aim to end by 1:30 PM. Please register by Friday at 9:00 am so we can plan for food and childcare.
