Pine Island Families,

8 days Dolphins before we kick off the 24 - 25 school year. I absolutely love this time of year and the excitement that fills the air as our entire team rallies together to prepare the learning environment for the arrival of our Dolphins! We cannot wait!

Last week we had the honor of welcoming our new families to Pine Island! We had a blast introducing them to the PIA Way and acquainting them with the beautiful facility that will become their learning environment! They are joining a community that has proven to be student-centered focused on EVERY STUDENT, EVERY NEED, EVERY DAY!

Our students continue to thrive at PIA, in an environment that is student-centered and remains focused on the most important part, serving our students with excellence. Again this year our student achievement was among the top in the district! Way to go Dolphins!

Throughout the school year I will send communication to individual groups, such as elementary, or middle school that are specific to just those groups. However each Sunday the Family News will be sent to ALL PIA families. THE PIA Family News includes the items listed below and is school-wide information that is important to all students.

*******Families MUST sign - up for the Family News by visiting the PIA webpage and signing up! If you don't sign - up families WILL NOT receive the Family News!*****

Highlights below:

  • Mandatory Paperwork - ALL STUDENTS
  • PTO News - make sure to read as it has important dates you don't want to miss!

As a reminder, the Family News is structured in sections to help navigate the most important information for families.

  • School wide news
  • K - 5 news
  • Middle School news
  • Middle School Athletics news
  • PTO Highlights

Dolphins, enjoy the next eight(8) days preparing for the 24 - 25 school year!

See you soon

Mrs. Riedl, Principal
