On Thursday, Oct. 31, we will have "Game Day at PIA!" Students are encouraged to wear their favorite team jersey. No costumes, mask or face paint, just game day jerseys!

The AMAZING SHAKE CLub-

• 4th - 8th grade students only - Applications open Nov 3 - Nov. 7
• The Amazing Shake Club at Pine Island Academy aims to help students develop leadership, confidence, and communication skills.
• The club will focus on essential skills students can apply to their future professional careers—like giving a proper handshake, networking effectively, acing interviews, and staying composed under pressure.

• DAY - Thursday - beginning 11/14
• TIME - 3:00-4:00pm.

• Students can apply two ways:

Amazing Shake Application

Fall Picture Retakes & New Student Pictures - Nov. 6

• Individual Fall Retakes and photos for new students will be on Wednesday, November 6.
• Reminder: the packet of pictures you purchased must be returned in order to have a retake taken.
• Any new students and students who were absent on the original will also have a picture taken.

Lost & Found

• Lost and Found will be donated at the end of each month.
• Please have your students check in the cafe for any missing items.

"Boxes of Love" Thanksgiving Food Drive

• National Junior Honor Society (NJHS) is excited to sponsor our first “Boxes of Love” Thanksgiving Food Drive to support families in need throughout St. John’s County from November 3 - November 13.
• Each K - 5 classroom and all Middle School Social Studies classes will be collecting items for their Box of Love.
• Teachers will communicate the list of items in Teacher Newsletters this week.
