As the year draws to a close, it it natural to pause and reflect on the journey we have shared - the celebrations that have filled our days, the challenges we have overcome together, and the remarkable individuals whose efforts often transcend words of gratitude. This season, it feels especially fitting to extend a heartfelt "thank you" to our families and community for your patience, generosity and support, even when navigating the complexities of our world today. Your continuous support to our students, staffulty, and school are deeply appreciated.

To Our Pine Island Parents and Families, Thank you

Your invaluable partnership in your child's education is the driving force behind our efforts. Though much of your work happens behind the scenes, it never goes unnoticed. Your steadfast support empower our "staffulty," particularly our teachers, to push boundaries and embrace progressive learning opportunities. Through your encouragement, we offer opportunities for students to "discover their strengths and pursue their dreams" - a mission we live and breathe every day.

Creating Joyful and Unforgettable Experiences

It is my greatest passion to ensure that Pine Island is a place where students create happy, lasting memories. As we continue to grow, although we have made some shifts in "how" we create experiences for students, our priorities of celebrating the success of our students, showing compassion and generosity to others, and creating experiences that students don't forget will continue to drive what we do as a learning community.

Thank you for embracing both the victories and challenges, for standing by our teachers and staff, and for devoting countless hours to your child’s education. Your commitment reminds us daily why it is indeed great to be a Pine Island Dolphin.

THANK YOU - Dolphin Dash goal EXCEEDED-

• THANK YOU to all our volunteers that showed up on Friday to support our student during the Dolphin Dash!
• Thank you to our amazing PTO, led by Mrs. Brittany Barron, for the COUNTLESS hours they poured into making this experience for our students unforgettable. They worked from sun up to sun down on Friday and I will never be able to express the appreciation and gratitude for their UNWAVERING support - NO MATTER WHAT!
• Thank you to our announcer, Mr. John Richardson, for creating excitement and fun for our students!
• THANK YOU to our FAMILIES for helping us for EXCEEDING our goal once again! No matter the challenges - you ALWAYS rally behind our kiddos and for that I am forever grateful!

Fill a Box Campaign "Thank You"

K - 9 for Warriors Donation - THANK YOU Band Boosters for making this happen

• At our most recent Veteran's Day Concert - the PIA Band challenged our community to bring donations for the K - 9 for Warriors
• A HUGE Thank you for meeting the challenge - AS ALWAYS!

• Fellowship of Christian Athletes Huddle is this Wednesday, November 20th from dismissal until 3:30 in room 204. 
• We will be ending at 3:30 until the “full day” Wednesdays are complete (which is in February). At that time, we will go back to the earlier time slot. 
• This is a non-denominational organization that combines faith with sport. 
• All 5^th – 8^th graders are welcome to attend. Parent pick-up or biker, carter, walker will be necessary at 3:30. 
• If you have any questions, contact Coach Anderson (cindy.anderson@stjohns.k12.fl.us).

Running Club for 3rd-8th Graders

• Would your child like to join the Dolphin Running Club?
• If so, registration is now open. Running Camp is for grades 3^rd – 8^th. 
• Space is limited so please sign-up quickly as they will fill-up. 
• Registration deadline is December 13^th  (unless spaces fill up sooner).  
• Practices are on Thursdays from 2:30 – 3:30. 
• The season will be January 9^th – February 27^th. 
• All participants will stay after school with a running camp coach until practice starts at 2:30.
• During that time they will have time for a small snack, so we ask that families please send in water and a healthy snack with your runner.
