Pine Island Families,

Thank you to all our families that joined us for our Veteran's Day Concert on Thursday. A HUGE thank you to Mr. Panoff and our PIA Band for creating a beautiful tribute to honor our men and women of service.

Thank you to our PIA Band Boosters for coming along-side our Band and making sure they have what is needed as our band continues to grow, our PIA PTO and Art teachers, Ms. David, Mrs. Lust, and Mrs. Taylor for providing the beautiful decorations and our PIA team for coordinating. It takes a village, and our village ALWAYS shows up with love, compassion, and dedication! THANK YOU TEAM!

As we observe Veteran's Day, Monday, November 11, I would love to encourage our students to join our staffulty in wearing RED, WHITE, & BLUE! It is so important that our students understand the importance of this day. Our teachers will be providing state/district provided Veteran's Day instruction as well!

This week is an exciting week as our PTO host the Dolphin Dash. Make sure you read through the PTO newsletter for important updates.

As a reminder, this Wednesday, Nov. 13 is a FULL DAY.

After school - 3:30 - 5:30

Students will dismiss with regular dismissal and come back at 3:30

"Boxes of Love" Thanksgiving Food Drive

• National Junior Honor Society (NJHS) is excited to sponsor our first “Boxes of Love” Thanksgiving Food Drive to support families in need throughout St. John’s County from November 3 - November 13.
• Each K - 5 classroom and all Middle School Social Studies classes will be collecting items for their Box of Love.
• Please get all donations to classrooms by Wednesday, Nov. 13!
