This week our PIA Band, Beginning, Concert, and Symphonic, will honor our Veteran's in our first Veteran's Day Concert. Honoring the men and women that serve our country is an honored tradition at PIA and we couldn't be more excited to partner with the PIA Band, under the direction of Mr. Panoff for this special tribute.

As we prepare for the Dolphin Dash & MS DASH Xtreme, should you plan to attend event, make sure you read below for mandatory requirements to attend. We want to make sure that all our families are well informed.

As a reminder, this Wednesday, Nov. 6 is an early release.

Fall Picture Retakes & New Student Pictures - Nov. 6

• Individual Fall Retakes and photos for new students will be on Wednesday, November 6.
• Reminder: the packet of pictures you purchased must be returned in order to have a retake taken.
• Any new students and students who were absent on the original will also have a picture taken.

"Boxes of Love" Thanksgiving Food Drive

• National Junior Honor Society (NJHS) is excited to sponsor our first “Boxes of Love” Thanksgiving Food Drive to support families in need throughout St. John’s County from November 3 - November 13.
• Each K - 5 classroom and all Middle School Social Studies classes will be collecting items for their Box of Love.
• Teachers will communicate the list of items in Teacher Newsletters.

• Fellowship of Christian Athletes Huddle is this Wednesday, November 6th from dismissal until 2:30 in room 204. 
• This is a non-denominational organization that combines faith with sport. 
• All 5^th – 8^th graders are welcome to attend. Parent pick-up or biker, carter, walker will be necessary at 2:30. 
• If you have any questions, contact Coach Anderson (cindy.anderson@stjohns.k12.fl.us).

The AMAZING SHAKE CLub-

• 4th - 8th grade students only - Applications open Nov 3 - Nov. 7
• The Amazing Shake Club at Pine Island Academy aims to help students develop leadership, confidence, and communication skills.
• The club will focus on essential skills students can apply to their future professional careers—like giving a proper handshake, networking effectively, acing interviews, and staying composed under pressure.

• DAY - Thursday - beginning 11/14
• TIME - 3:00-4:00pm.

• Students can apply two ways:
