Greetings Jefferson Middle School Families!

6TH GRADE AMPLIFY SCIENCE CURRICULUM INFORMATION
We are adding information to our school website regarding the 6th grade science curriculum. Our 6th graders have been introduced to Amplify, a curriculum that allows students to take on the role of scientists to investigate and solve real-world problems.

Students have been enjoying the exploration of science concepts through the use of Amplify, and we are excited to bring additional background information about Amplify to you via our Jefferson webpage!

SCHOOL BREAKFAST START AND END TIMES
Parents, we need your help. School breakfast is served from 7:20-7:35 in the Jefferson cafeteria each morning. Students then proceed to their homeroom lessons, which begin at 7:35. If your child is arriving late to school and needs breakfast, we are asking you to notify the office to allow your child to eat breakfast. This option is available only until 8:00 to allow our cafeteria staff time to prepare for the lunch periods.  Identified students with individualized plans follow a different breakfast procedure.

Thank you for your cooperation!
