HOPE DOES NOT DISAPPOINT.

This year Bishop Shanahan High School celebrates the spiritual theme "Hope does not disappoint," as we prepare for the Jubilee Year of Hope. Join us in prayer each Sunday as we share quotes from the Psalms, Saints, and more!

FROM THE PRESIDENT

Join Us!

The Bishop Shanahan High School Art Department's annual Christmas Concert will be held on Wednesday, December 18th at 7:00 PM. Admission is a free will offering, and the performance will take place in the BSHS Auditorium. You'll get in the Christmas spirit as you enjoy seasonal songs from the select choir, jazz band, a capella group, and so much more! All are welcome!

School Building Holiday Hours

Bishop Shanahan Offices will be open on 12/26, 12/27, and 12/30 from 8:00 AM-12:00 PM over the Christmas Break.

FACTS Tuition Accounts

Respectfully, I remind all families of the policy of the Office of Catholic Education which states that no student’s account may be more than 90 days overdue. Any student with a past due balance over 90 days will not be able start the second semester which begins on January 27, 2025. Families are asked to make every effort to resolve any outstanding balances so as to avoid interruptions to their child’s education in the second semester.

PRINCIPAL

Christmas Break

Christmas break will begin at the close of school on Friday, December 20th. Classes resume on January 2nd.

Special Collection for St. Francis of Assisi

As you have likely heard, St. Francis of Assisi School in Springfield suffered a devastating fire in October. As their community recovers, the Bishop Shanahan community wants to show our support for our brothers and sisters in Christ. During our school-wide Advent liturgy on Friday December 20, a collection will be held; all proceeds will benefit the St. Francis of Assisi school community. We encourage our students and families to be generous; we are People of God; People for Others! (Checks can be made out to Bishop Shanahan, note St. Francis collection in memo)

MINISTRY OFFICE
