Grateful for our Fairview Family!

As we look ahead to 2025, I want to take a moment to share my heartfelt thanks. I am so grateful for the incredible students, families, and staff at Fairview Elementary. The support, dedication and sense of community you bring make our school a truly special place.

This school year has been filled with countless moments of growth, learning and joy, and none of this would be possible without the involvement of our wonderful families. Whether you've volunteered, participated in various school events, supported classroom activities or simply encouraged your child's education at home, you've made a lasting impact.

Thank you for trusting us with your children and for being such an important part of our school community. We are truly grateful for the strong bond we share with our families, and we look forward to working together to help our students achieve even more in the year ahead.

Wishing you a peaceful and joyful holiday season!

PurposeFull People Word of the Month

This month’s focus is Empathy. One way to think about empathy is “understanding and connecting with other people’s feelings.” Empathy is a practice that can help us grow strong relationships. Empathy is one of three traits we will focus on throughout the year that helps students Be Kind. Throughout the school, students will be developing skills like perspective-taking, conflict resolution and leadership.

The monthly newsletter that includes Family Pursuits was sent home earlier this week. We encourage our families to explore and discuss empathy through these activities. Once you've completed the pursuits, please have your child return the pursuit form for a special incentive!

The Fairview PSO recently hosted the Penguin Patch Holiday Shop, giving students the chance to shop for gifts for their family members.

It was a wonderful opportunity for students to learn about the joy of giving while also practicing some basic financial literacy skills.

Mark your calendars on December 7 for Breakfast with Santa at the Pulaski Community Middle School.
