Heartfelt Thanks

Celebrating Gratitude as the Holidays Approach

As we approach the holiday season, it’s a great time to reflect on all that we have to be thankful for.

Gratitude helps us appreciate the people and experiences that bring joy to our lives, reminding us to focus on the positive. It’s a chance to pause and recognize the little things — whether it's spending time with loved ones, enjoying a favorite tradition, or simply being together as a community.

This holiday season, let's embrace thankfulness by expressing our appreciation and sharing kindness with others. By doing so, we can make this time of year even more meaningful and create a warm, supportive environment for everyone.

Empathy in the Season of Giving

Empathy is a wonderful focus for character education for the month of December. Encouraging students to understand and share the feelings of others helps build stronger relationships, a supportive school community, and a deeper sense of connection. Activities and lessons centered on empathy will empower students to practice kindness and compassion in their daily lives.

Gearing Up for the Winter Weather

As the winter weather settles in, please remember to send your child to school with proper winter gear, including: coat, hat, gloves or mittens, scarf, snow pants and boots.

Dressing warmly ensures students can enjoy outdoor recess comfortably and stay safe during the colder months. Thank you for helping us keep everyone warm and ready for winter fun!
