Sept. 26, 2024

A brief introduction from Mrs. Stelmach.

Hello Lannoye parents, guardians and community members!

Thank you ALL so much for your kindness and support during my first couple of weeks at Lannoye! As you may know, Mrs. Goddard is out on medical leave, and I have joined the team in support as the interim principal. I am honored to be here and take my role seriously. I am working hard to get to know students and staff, and I welcome you to reach out if you have any questions or concerns during this temporary transition.

Just a few tidbits about me: I recently retired in June 2023 after 34 years in education. Most recently, I was the principal in Green Bay Area Public Schools at King Elementary Children's Center for Engineering. Prior to King, I served as principal at Red Smith and Wequiock Elementary schools. After retiring, I supported Jackson Elementary as their interim principal from October 2023 to June 2024. I have been married for 34 years with two grown and married children and three grandchildren. I live on a small hobby farm in Denmark, Wis.

I look forward to my time at Lannoye! What a special school!

Lannoye Interim Principal

Lannoye Raider Time

September Word of the Month

Respect

Raider Way

Has your child ever mentioned Raider Time? Are you curious about what this means? At Lannoye Elementary, Raider Time is a monthly meeting that allows students to make connections with teachers and staff, as well as other students from across grade levels. Each Raider Time group is comprised of one teacher or staff member and about two students per grade level. These groups remain the same from year to year with the addition of new kindergarteners at the start of school. The focus of each Raider Time meeting is the word of the month.

Raider Time groups allow students to interact and build connections with adults and students outside of their grade level classroom. In addition, it provides an opportunity to reinforce positive social and emotional learning while building a school community that is Raider Strong!

For September, Raider groups are focusing on the word RESPECT. Ask your child what they can do to model respect for their peers and live the Raider Way!
