Atrium Health Floyd-Polk Foundation Grant Award

We’re excited to announce that the Family Resource Center has received a grant from the Atrium Health Floyd-Polk Foundation to support Phase Two of our initiative to prevent child abuse and strengthen families in Floyd and Polk Counties!

This grant builds on the success of our First Steps and Parent Aide programs—providing early identification, in-home support, trauma-informed parenting education, and critical resources to families.

Through our support services, the FRC is helping caregivers build safe, stable, and nurturing homes—and creating better futures for local families.

We are hiring!

We are expanding our team! The FRC is seeking a full-time employee to provide home visitation services as well as conduct assessments and referrals to new parents.  Candidate must be able to deliver home visitation services in Floyd and Polk Counties, provide client transportation on a limited basis. and be willing to visit families in a hospital setting. Our ideal candidate has an ability to warmly engage families and able to multi-task. While an associate or bachelor's degree in human services or related field is preferred, experience is considered in lieu of degree. Ability to speak and write in Spanish is preferred but not required.
