Did you know...

that as the parent or guardian of a child receiving early intervention services, you have rights and safeguards in place to protect your child and family's interests? The Notice of Family Rights and Procedural Safeguards outline these and can be found on the EIPLP website here . If you have questions about your rights in early intervention, please talk to your service coordinator, Program Director, or contact Mary Dennehy-Colorusso, from the

Did you know...

there are Parent Advisory Councils  (PAC) in Early Intervention, just like there are in Special Education (called a SEPAC)? A PAC is a group of parents of children receiving EI services (or recent EI graduates), that meets with the Program Director (or another staff liaison) regularly to provide parent input.

An eligibility evaluation is the process of determining a child's initial and ongoing eligibility for EI services through a review of information related to eligibility criteria and the administration of a DPH approved tool.
