Did you know...
there are Parent Advisory Councils
(PAC) in Early Intervention, just like there are in Special Education (called a SEPAC)? A PAC is a group of parents of children receiving EI services (or recent EI graduates), that meets with the Program Director (or another staff liaison) regularly to provide parent input.
For information on Parent Advisory Councils beyond EI, including guidance from the Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education, visit the
MassPAC
section of the Federation for Children with Special Needs (FCSN) website. You can reach the FCSN at 800-311-0688 or by sending an email to [email protected].
