Adult B'nei Mitzvah Class begins January 15 - registration now open!
Earlier this year we celebrated the 100th anniversary of the first American Bat Mitzvah, and many TE members shared their personal stories of celebrating their Bat Mitzvah as an adult. Some of our members grew up in Jewish homes but did not have a traditional Bar or Bat Mitzvah ceremony. Some have joined the Jewish people as adults. Over the years, some have expressed the desire to celebrate this milestone as an adult. This is your chance!
Rabbi Farbman will be teaching this Adult B'nei Mitzvah class beginning in January.
Follow this link to sign up! Class dates: Jan 15, 22, 29; Feb 5, 12; Mar 12, 19, 26; Apr 23, 30

TIKKUN OLAM AT TEMPLE EMANUEL
New TE Tikkun Olam Fund !!
Tikkun Olam, repairing the world, is a very important part of who we are as Jews and who we are at Temple Emanuel. TE members are involved in many Tikkun Olam projects. Sometimes we get involved personally, whether it be by serving a meal at a homeless shelter or donating turkeys to the Downtown Evening Soup Kitchen’s Thanksgiving drive. Often these projects involve donating money to an organization whose work we support, such as the Beth-El Center in Milford, which houses individuals experiencing homelessness and provides meals to those in need.

We have decided to set up a Tikkun Olam Fund as part of our Mitzvah & Memorial Funds. If you would like to donate to Temple Emanuel in honor of someone, in memory of someone, or just because you would like to donate, you can choose this new fund, knowing that the money will be used to support programs that help to repair the world. If you would like to donate, you can use this link.
