Parent & Family Weekend Welcome Center
Where do I need to check-in?
Check-In and Registration will be located in the Sumer's Welcome Center Lower Level on Friday, November 1 from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM and Saturday, November 2 from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM. Sumer's Welcome Center is located on the newly renovated East End of campus.

If you pre-purchased special event tickets or shirts, they will be available for pick-up at that time. Your student may also pick up information and special event tickets on your behalf. At check-in, you will also be provided a final schedule of events and other materials about Washington University and the St. Louis area.
Tickets
Can my family still participate in ticketed events?
We still have many tickets available for many events during Parent & Family Weekend, including the Parent & Family BBQ, football game, the Women's Literary History Bus Tour, and more! We will also have a limited number of Parent & Family  Weekend t-shirts for sale. You may purchase these tickets with cash, check, or major credit card on-site on a first-come, firs-served basis until the event is sold out.

Tickets for the Performing Arts Department's Legally Blonde performances must be purchased through the Edison Theater Box Office located in Mallinckrodt Center by calling 314.935.6543.
Parking
Where can I park during the weekend?
When picking up your check-in and registration packets, you may choose to park in the East End Garage located adjacent to the Sumer's Welcome Center. For long-term parking throughout the day, we encourage you to park in any designated visitor space on campus or yellow designated spaces on campus.

Visitors will not need a permit to park in these spaces during the weekend.

Visitor and yellow designated parking is available in the garages of the Danforth University Center (DUC), Snow Way and Millbrook on the Danforth Campus, as well as in Shepley and Wallace Garages on the South 40.

As a reminder, you may also park in any unreserved space - those not marked as red or accessible - in any zone, starting at 5:00 PM on Friday, and all day Saturday and Sunday.

What are students doing during the weekend?
Please note, classes are not cancelled on Friday and you may want to check with your student regarding his or her class and study schedule for the weekend as many students will have exams, papers, and projects the week after you visit.
