We've been busy!
Below are some scenes from Cinco de Mayo, Mother's Day, our Nurses week photo booth and Ice Cream Sundae Races: nurses were competing to make sundaes for residents and staff-such fun!!!

Expanded Dining Room Offerings
We are happy to announce that starting Monday, May 16, we will expand dining to Monday through Thursday for breakfast and lunch and continue with Wednesday dinner.  Just a friendly reminder, families cannot be in the dining room at any time, due to COVID-19 restrictions.

Welcome, Anesia!
We are pleased to add Anesia, LPN to our nursing team. She will be working part-time during the day shift.

Enjoying warmer weather
Our landscaping company is hard at work getting the outside ready for our enjoyment. They hope to have all the outdoor furniture in place by the end of May.

Hairdresser Appointments
Jamie, our hairdresser, will be on vacation next week and will return for appointments on May 25.

Second Booster Update
The booster clinic provided by the Mobile Primary Physician Group for a second COVID-19 booster had to be rescheduled for Tuesday, May 17. If you would like your loved one to get a second booster in the future, call Cindy Clark, case manager at ext. 2448.

Evacuation Drill
We will be practicing our DOH required full evacuation drill next week. We will assist residents to evacuate to the courtyard on the CD side. This practice session ensures our staff is well prepared in case of an actual emergency.

Ready for the Sunshine
We are expecting our courtyard furniture and canopies to be installed by end of the month by our landscaping company.
 
Thanks for your help
In the weeks ahead, you will see members of the National Guard in the building providing assistance with painting projects. We are so appreciative of their assistance on the campus.

Please give a warm welcome to Elise, our new full-time nurse, 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. We are so happy to have her join the team!
