Grades and Comments for Marking Period 3 are Now Available

Click here to access your student's grades using the following instructions:

Login into your Veracross account.
Select “Classes & Reports” from the landing page or click the “Reports” tab.
You will find a link to both the MP3 Grade Report and MP3 Comment Report.

Please note: Course comments in Marking Period 3 are entered only in certain cases; for example, students who have received an "incomplete" or a failing grade ("F"). Dorm comments are provided for preps and lower mids only.

As a reminder, your Veracross username is your email address. If you have forgotten your password, you can click the "Can't access your account?" link on the login page. Please contact Registrar Heather Mechare should you need further assistance.

Returning to School After March Break

We hope you are enjoying having your student home for the March Break. As it will soon be time for them to head back to Lakeville, please take note of the important reminders below.

COVID-19 Rapid Test Required

Students were provided with rapid home test kits prior to departure for break. This test must be taken within 24 hours of returning to School on March 21, unless the student has tested positive for COVID-19 within the last 90 days. If your student tests positive, they should isolate and please contact the health center for further guidance regarding clearance to return to campus.

Once everyone is back at School after the break, the health center will conduct an additional round of campus testing. All community members will be expected to mask until we receive the results and determine that it is safe to be mask-optional again.

Travel Plans & Transportation

If your student's return travel plans have changed, please complete a new Absence Request form via the Parent Portal, identifying it as an update to previously submitted plans.

Bus reservations have ended. To inquire about late reservation availability, please contact Laurie Grusauski via email.

Grandparents Day - Saturday, April 23, 2022

We invite all grandparents to join their Hotchkiss student(s) for the day – attending classes, athletic events, musical performances, and tea with the head of school. Make your hotel reservations early; visit www.hotchkiss.org/visit for a list of local hotels. A detailed invitation will be mailed to grandparents in mid-March.

Hotchkiss strives to keep its online re-enrollment process is as smooth, efficient, and family-friendly as possible. Click here to learn how you can access your student's re-enrollment documents.

The Business Office requests that re-enrollment be completed by March 26.

Mischianza Memo: Order Yearbooks Now!

Each member of the Class of 2022 receives a complimentary copy of the yearbook. Upper mids, lower mids, and preps who want a yearbook, or seniors or PGs who would like a second copy, may order directly from Herff Jones. Summer Storage Information

Plan ahead! Families are responsible for removing all student items from campus at the end of the school year. Your student may have arrived in September with one car load, only to discover there is now more to bring home in June! Read about the UPS Store's storage, packing, and shipping services available at the end of the academic year.
