Tacoma Public Schools and community partners have come together to offer Beyond the Bell to let you choose before and after school activities at your school.

Youth Soccer

REGISTRATION DEADLINE SEP.16

Youth Soccer is offered as a part of Beyond the Bell. To sign up for the program with after school practices go to COMPASS (the TPS Family App) and look for Beyond the Bell.

If your child does not attend Tacoma Public Schools, or if you would prefer a later practice schedule (held 5-6 pm or 6-7 pm instead of afterschool) CLICK HERE and sign up for community leagues on the Metro Parks website. These teams practice later but play games on Saturday with all of the Beyond the Bell teams.

Late Night is a FREE event for teens! Join us for late night fun with your friends! We’ll have open gym, sports, activities, and much more.

Family Nature Walks



September 24: 10 am (Tacoma Nature Center)

Bring the entire family to explore Tacoma Parks during free naturalist-led walks. Discover the amazing plants and animals that live in these parks and how they adapt in the different seasons.

Triple Impact 3 on 3

Eastside Community Center

September 24-Nov5: 3-12th Grade

Triple Impact Coaching is hosting a 3 on 3 League at Eastside Community Center.

Games will be played on Saturdays between 9 am-2 pm. Players will be grouped by age and placed on teams. The games will be officiated by Triple Impact Coaching staff.

Family Paddle Foss Waterway

September 24: 9 am

Check out the urban landscape of the Foss Waterway from your kayak. Experience the Tacoma skyline from a new perspective and take in the sights and sounds of this working waterway.

Join us at your neighborhood community center to find out what’s happening, meet the staff, and share your ideas! The event will include a meal, ice breaker & brainstorming activities, and an opportunity to give feedback
