Emotion in sports is inescapable. 

We feel it with time running out and our team is driving down field to tie the game. Or when your team pulls off a flawless performance in regionals. Pop Warner football players, cheerleaders and dancers will undoubtedly experience a mix of feelings next week as they prepare for the upcoming season: anticipation, maybe some fear, and a lot of excitement.

NEW POP WARNER TEAM AWARD

Community Star Award Launch

To honor Pop Warner teams that are making a difference in their communities, Pop Warner is introducing the Community Star Award this year. The honor will recognize the most compelling stories of how Pop Warner teams deliver positive impact. 

Any Pop Warner team whose work exemplifies positive community impact is eligible for nomination. If you know of an outstanding member that meets this criteria, please consider nominating them for Community Star Award. Nominations are open now through October 31, 2023.

Nominees will be announced in November with a national winner announced in December.
