Hello Friends,
Spring is quickly turning in to Summer and we are still finding joy in our birds and our community despite the lingering shadow of covid-19. The ingenuity and open-mindedness we have seen in our little Wild Bird and Garden world is really keeping us going. We are excited about so many things happening right now!  We have some amazing native plants available from our dear friends Joyce and Mindy at Going Native Gardens, some awesome Fancy Houses in stock just in time for Father's Day, and so much more!

We are still looking for some help in the store. Both the Wilmington and Southport locations could use an extra hand. If you or someone you know is interested, send an email with employment history to the store! Applicants should be friendly, enjoy customer service, be able to lift 30 lbs and be able to work independently.

Local News Shout out!

This Wednesday 6/17/20 our very own Jill Peleuses and friend of the store, NC Audubon coastal biologist Lindsay Addison, were on the WHQR program CoastLine discussing local birds. It was a great interview, and if you missed it, you can check it out at CoastLine or download their podcast at CoastLine Podcast
