Several members of the FAP family were recognized at the law school's Annual Awards ceremony. Paris Holmes, Class of 2024, received a Dean's Citation for service. In addition to recognition of her recent victory in national finals of the Thurgood Marshall Moot Court Competition hosted by the National Black Law Students Association, Iyana Arrington, Class of 2024, also received the Student of Merit Award from the Student Bar Association.
Last but definitely not least, Lenora Giles, center, the FAP's program longtime administrator, received the Rose McMunn Staff Distinguished Service Award in recognition of her significant contributions to the Fannie Angelos Program and its participants over the decade she has been working with the program. As one student wrote, "Ms. Giles exemplifies extraordinary commitment and service to the law school and its students." Giles will be retiring on July 1.
