Covid-19 Protocols at Old North Church
Masking Optional - Vaccination Expected

Face masks are no longer required for the congregation. Following guidance from the CDC, the Marblehead Board of Public Health, and medical professionals in our congregation, we are no longer requiring face masks for the congregation. The choir will continue to wear masks while singing. We recommend masking for those at increased risk of COVID, those who are unvaccinated, or those who have a high-risk household member.

All members of the Old North Church clergy, staff and choir have been vaccinated against Covid-19. We urge you to be vaccinated as well. For information on the vaccine or how to be vaccinated, please go to www.mass.gov/covid-19
We urge you to continue to observe physical distancing between households, particularly if you or a member of your household is unvaccinated.
Hand sanitizer and disposable face masks are available in the narthex.

One More Week in April to Donate
to Marblehead's Food Pantry
April is our month of stocking the Marblehead Food Pantry shelves and once more we are hopeful that we will be successful in feeding our neighbors who are facing hard times.

Donations may be sent to Old North Church (with Marblehead Food Pantry written in the memo) at 8 Stacey Street, Marblehead.  A team of shoppers will purchase goods on a weekly basis, fulfilling very specific needs of the Pantry.

The Community Life Ministry Board is hosting a walking tour on April 23 at 1:00 pm. The tour will be led by Ginny von Rueden to locations featured in the history of Black, Indigenous and People of Color in Marblehead. Park in the Old North parking lot and walk to Abbot Hall. The tour will begin inside at Abbot Hall at 1:00 pm and continue around the downtown area back to the Old North Church. We will take our cars and proceed to Redd’s Pond to visit sites on Old Burial Hill and Gingerbread Hill to complete the tour. The tour will feature homes of wealthy merchants where enslaved workers lived as well as the homes of abolitionists and Underground Railroad Stationmasters. Discover the home and business of Marblehead’s folk legend, Joseph Brown and the place where Frederick Douglass, the most famous man in America, delivered passionate speeches against slavery.
