Farewell to Paul McLaughlin
Paul McLaughlin, IAR’s Legal Counsel for almost 24 years, is leaving the Iowa Association of REALTORS for a new role with SHAZAM ITS in the Des Moines Metro area.
“We wish Paul the best in his future endeavors. We greatly appreciate his long tenure to the association and its members. Paul will be missed. It is impossible to replace his knowledge and wisdom from his years of service. To Paul’s credit, the IAR’s legal hotline is one of the most popular services we provide, ” stated IAR CEO Gavin Blair.
“Paul is a great asset to IAR. He is a recognized authority in Iowa real estate law circles and has counseled and advised thousands of agents for over the past twenty four years. Paul’s hard work, input and dedication is well documented and appreciated. Many of us at IAR have had the privilege to call him friend. We wish him the very best in this new chapter,” expressed IAR President John Goede.
"I would like to thank the past leadership, staff, and especially the membership for bringing issues, concerns, and downright wacky situations to my attention so we could look to find solutions and well thought out answers to what was presented. You have all made me a much better at thought processing, being a smarter attorney, and better person. THANK YOU for this adventure," stated Paul McLaughlin.
We wish you the best, Paul!
