Re: Farm Credit Fly-In Communications Update 

 

The Farm Credit Fly-In will be here before we know it! Please review the key communications deadlines, poster updates and resources outlined below. 

Fly-In Resource Hub:

A dedicated hub is now available which includes key deadlines, marketplace requirements, a full product list (updated as submissions are received), communications guidance and other information. 

 

When considering which customers to invite and what products to showcase at the Marketplace Reception, please think about the story your customers and directors will bring to Capitol Hill. The goal is to highlight mission fulfillment through showcasing the depth and breadth of Farm Credit’s support for rural communities and agriculture. 

Submission Forms:

Please complete the following forms at the appropriate stages of your planning: 

 

Step 1: Marketplace and Product Information Form

Submit once you’ve selected your customer and identified the product you’ll bring to D.C. Form must be complete by September 23, 2025


Step 2: Communications Information Form

Submit after collecting the customer’s photo, poster content and any additional communications details. Form must be completed by October 4, 2025


Step 3: Shipping Information Form 

Submit when you're ready to ship your product and have tracking information available. Product must be received by October 11, 2025

Customer Poster Updates:

  • Printing Deadline: Submit by October 4th 


  • New Display Method: This year, customer posters will be hung from the sides of the event tent, replacing the previous use of easels. 


  • State Banner: To assist attendees in quickly identifying their local booth, FCC will add a 4-inch banner at the top of every poster. This banner will display the state name and corresponding state icon, as shown above. 


  • Poster Specifications: 
  • Format: PDF 
  • Resolution: 300 dpi 
  • Dimensions: 36.25” x 44.25” (final printed size will be 36” x 48”, including the banner) 
  • Content: Focus on visuals and limit text for readability at a distance 


  • Canva Templates: Canva templates are available to streamline the poster creation process. If you wish to utilize these templates, please email Lucy Waskiewicz for access.

Important Dates and Deadlines: 

  • July 29: Registration Opens 
  • September 23: Deadline to Submit Product and Customer Information 
  • September 23: Marketplace Materials May Begin Arriving 
  • October 4: Customer Poster Deadline 
  • October 11: Registration Closes 
  • October 11: Deadline for Arrival of Marketplace Products 
  • October 16: Virtual Session on Messaging and Capitol Hill Meetings 
  • November 4: Fly-In Programming, Evening Appreciation Event 
  • November 5: Hill Meetings and Marketplace Reception 


Marketplace Product Requirements:  

  • 250 individual pieces, individually packaged  
  • Valued at no more than $5 per item  
  • Packaged in non-glass, non-breakable containers 
  • Non-perishable*
