Hello, Wayland Winter Farmers' Market friends.
We wanted to let you know that our 2021 Winter Farmers' Market
will take place weekly beginning on Saturday, January 9 and
run through March 13. New hours this year are 11 AM to 2 PM.
Following regulations from the state and our local Board of Health,
we were able to have a successful outdoor Summer Market.
Shoppers showed strong support for local producers.
We are working hard to create an atmosphere for our Winter season
that will make all participants comfortable. Last year there were
50 vendors indoors, this year there will be seven. All the rest of the
will be outdoors or in greenhouses spaces with lots of fresh air.
Unfortunately, we will not be able to have our two Sunday Farm Fiber Days in 2021. To say that we will miss these gatherings of talented
fiber artisans from New England and beyond is a huge understatement.
Though the Farm Fiber Days will not take place, below we have
included links to the more than 50 Fiber vendors who participated
in last year's events. With almost every other fiber festival cancelled since mid-March, fiber vendors have lost a lot of revenue in 2020.
Your support could make a difference in the months ahead.
Please consider purchasing directly from the vendor links.
The Needle Gauge/Stitch Gauge made for us by Katrinkles
can be purchased at Russell's.
