In April 2023, Farm Foundation President and CEO Shari Rogge-Fidler celebrated the recent launch of the Global Forum on Farm Policy and Innovation (GFFPI) at the Forum for the Future of Agriculture Conference in Brussels. The members of GFFPI attended a luncheon that was hosted by Martin Hlaváček MEP to hear from some global stakeholders about the challenges and opportunities in trade relations and how the collaboration may be able to help address them.
GFFPI is an initiative of four leading independent agricultural organizations, including Farm Foundation, Australian Farm Institute, Canadian Agri-Food Policy Institute, and Forum for the Future of Agriculture. The organizations are looking for ways to engage additional global voices and to connect their individual organizational activities associated with one of the key global drivers of sustainable agriculture. Going forward, the partners will also seek to work with similar like-minded organizations around the world.
