A First Amendment Battle Update and an Appeal from Jim Riley...

We can still win if you join us. The opposition – Claremont Unified and their insurance company representative – thinks we will fold. The federal judge who presides over our case, Jesus Bernal, keeps taunting us, betting we won’t appeal to the Ninth Circuit. 

It's time for a pitchfork legal rebellion. Imagine just 300 of our Riley’s Farm and First Amendment fans donating $50 a piece. If we achieve that in the next 48 hours -- $15,000 – we will be able to take this back to the Ninth Circuit. Our lawyers, who have offered to complete this at a fraction of the normal cost, think we can win.

JOIN THE FIGHT

Someone just donated $500. Another person donated $10. It doesn’t matter how much you give, but the more of you who give, the more the enemy trembles. The folks on the other side want a First Amendment that is controlled by high maintenance, social-justice neurotics. If they see you giving, they might stop hating the Bill of Rights -- out of abject fear.

Do you want a “safe space” First Amendment for your children? Are conservative, liberty-loving Americans simply required to shut their mouths if they work for, or sell to, a public agency? Is this the America you want: “Oh, I know I can’t speak the truth because I believe in the Constitution, but I work for the government.”

FRIGHTEN THESE BASTARDS

Honestly, If you were watching a biopic of “Jim Riley and the First Amendment,” this would be the very dark, desperate bottom of Act II. My family loves me, but they can't take it much longer. I was told this week, by the representative of a conservative mega-billionaire that “conservative super-wealthy, unlike the leftist wealthy, do not fund litigation.” The same person assured me, however, that “regular people defend the First Amendment.”
