Thanksgiving

Dear Friends of Riley's Farm:

Thanksgiving Hours, U-Pick: We will be open this week Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday, and, yes, we STILL have apples to pick. This time of year, we make a few pies we don't make year round, so if you like pecan and pumpkin pie, stop on in! Better yet, order ahead.

Christmas Events: We still have a few nights open (see graphics below) for Christmas in the Colonies and A Christmas Carol. Be careful when you order because our 2025 dates are now on the calendar too. Using the coupon "Season2025" you can save 10% on all 2025 dinner shows. Give your family the gift of celebration this year. Sale ends 12/24/2024. P.S. At the last minute, we have seven seats that have opened back up up for our costume required Christmas in the Colonies event on 12/20. You will need to arrange for rental wardrobe, but this is a SUPER fun event. Make plans.

Emerald City: Our fall season began with some very warm, crowd-shrinking Saturdays, so some of us apple growers were a bit nervous, but now that it's crisp and autumnal up here, you've been boosting our Saturday and weekday traffic by at least 25%. We appreciate that more than you know. We will begin gating parts of the farm in 2025, experimenting with more admission programs, and we hope you help us get out the word: we are open year round, with dinner shows every month of the calendar. The next eight years represent the 250th anniversary of events like Lexington, Bunker Hill, Saratoga, and Yorktown, so we plan on doing some celebrating. We aren't free, but we believe we're a better value than some corporate, woke-speak destinations that come to mind.

Our Online Store:  Did you know that some of our wooden toys are actually hand made by the carpenter who built the Hawk's Head Tavern? Now you do. Remember, when you shop for stocking stuffers (jams, toys, books), go to "change address" and enter a zip code, or you won't get any shipping options.

Enough for now!

See you soon,

James Riley

Know what these are?

I'm not above using AI, but that really is an Oak Glen sky..

Okay, this is a genuinely difficult jigsaw puzzle. I think it has something to do with pieces that feel interchangeable. Anyone know where we can get a jigsaw puzzle made in America?
