Dear Friends of Riley's Farm:
U-Pick: Believe it or not we STILL have apples to pick (Newton Pippin and Granny Smith). We are closed on Sundays, so that might explain why our crop is lasting a little longer. Enjoy some live music and celebration this Saturday, but we're also open on weekdays for apple picking.
2025 Dinner Shows: The entire 2025 dinner season is now available for sale at a discount of TEN PERCENT until Christmas Eve at midnight. This gives you plenty of time to get your whole extended family or church together on dates and times. Use coupon "Season2025" to get the discount. Revolutionary Evenings, Valentines, Finnegan's Wake, Mother's Day, Father's Day, Ragtime Medley, Big Band Dance, Sleepy Hollow, Harvest Feast, Christmas Carol and Christmas in the Colonies. (Be careful about the Christmas events: both 2024 and 2025 performances are listed.)
Riley's Farm Gift Cards: Thinking about presents? Give the gift card you can't get ANYWHERE else -- the Riley's Farm Gift card. Personally, I love Benihana gift cards, but not even Benihana can offer everything from cider pressing, to tomahawk throwing, to apple pies, to watching poor Tim Finnegan fall off the roof. You have to admit, as gift cards go, it's pretty versatile.
Emerald City: I think the next eight years will arrive with a 250 year old glow. From April 19, 2025 to September 3, 2033, we celebrate that glorious span of time from Lexington & Concord to the Treaty of Paris. We hear big things about celebrations going on all over the country, and we plan to do our part here. The story of authority passing from "sovereign" monarchs to "sovereign" human beings is a grand one -- so grand that we might win over even some of the peevish, revisionist types. This is only a rumor, but they say Robert De Niro is a little worried he will miss all the Riley's Farm living history, while he's trying to find an apartment in North Korea. (In a related note, is there a way to get Whoopie Goldberg to complain about your bakery? It's apparently EXCELLENT for business.)
