EDUCATION
Spaces Added for Summer Programs Grades K-8, June - August
| | | | Programs for kids in grades K–8 offer unforgettable, hands-on adventures: caring for animals, tending the education garden, exploring the land, and cooking with ingredients they harvest themselves. Led by experienced educators in small groups, each session is engaging, joyful, and different from the last. If the week you want is full, add yourself to the waitlist - we will be in touch as openings occur. | |

EDUCATION
Meet our Newest Farm Workers!
| | | | The education team welcomed honey bees to the farm last Friday! We will be taking care of two hives this summer, and hopefully getting some honey and beeswax to use in education programming. Please join us in welcoming these fuzzy friends (from a distance). | |

FARM
What's Happening in the Fields
| | | | With Spring underway, the farmers have spent the week transplanting greens, brassicas, cabbage, and broccoli into the ground at the farm. Fields are also being prepped for cucumber, squash, eggplant and pepper seedlings, while the garlic planted last fall is quickly putting on growth. Stop by for a walk on the farm and you'll spot mixed greens, kale, lettuce and bok choy taking root in the farm's front fields (under the white row cover, which helps to keep the crops warmer and insects away). The farm team is wrapping up the week by mulching the farm's freshly planted pea crop. | | |
