Farris Engineering has announced its board of directors, which includes seven incumbents and one new member. The directors were elected by the firm's employee-owners for a one-year term. After the new board was seated, company officers were elected as follows:
- Michael D. Wallace: President/Chief Executive Officer (CEO)
- Ryan D. King: Treasurer/ and Vice President
- Donna G. Kohlan: Secretary and Vice President
- Gregory T. Kronaizl: Executive Vice President
- Lyle W. Hubl: Executive Vice President
- J. Matt Morrissey: Vice President
- Stephen C. Roitsch: Chairman of the Board, Assistant Secretary and Vice President
- Joining the Board is Ericka M. Nienhueser: Vice President
Board-elected President/CEO, Michael Wallace, earned his architectural Engineering degree from Kansas State University in 1993. Upon graduation he joined the Colorado Springs office of Farris Engineering as an electrical engineer. Through education, training, and leadership, Michael has held various positions within Farris including Vice President and Omaha Electrical Department Manager. In his current role as President/CEO, Michael will focus on the operation and performance of the firm.

Newly elected board member Ericka Nienhueser, a Sidney, NE, native, joined Farris Engineering in 2008 as an intern in electrical engineering. Through her 10 years with Farris, Ericka has become a licensed engineer and a certified lighting designer. She has worked on a diverse range of projects but has a special interest in healthcare and educational facility design. She obtained her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Architectural Engineering from the University of Nebraska, and is a member of Commercial Real Estate Women (CREW), Omaha Metro.
