NEW FURNITURE COLLECTIONS
Burton James

Drawing on their rich history as a Los Angeles-based manufacturer creating furnishings tailored to the needs of the interior design trade, Burton James brings to life a new trio of product lines that re-interpret familiar silhouettes with the brand's trademark contemporary flair.

MODERN TRADITIONS
Using the design vocabulary of traditional European upholstery, updated with current stylings, this collection features the dressmaker details of high skirts and button accents combined with sloping arms and soft curves -- all rendered in soft neutral palettes featuring linen and linen-like fabrics highlighted with touches of spa-tones.

NEW DECO
This collection finds Burton James inspired by the refined detailing of Art Deco furnishings prominent during the 1920's and 30's, and features handsomely crafted details like channeling, button tufting and inset welts. True to its Art Deco roots the collection features dynamic curves and strong forms framed by exposed wood frames and luxurious lacquer finishes.

EURO-MODERN
In this collection Burton James explores the elegant stylings of modern Italian and Scandinavian upholstery design and articulates their modular concepts in variations as widely creative and uniquely articulated as possible. With unique volume and bold scaling, this collection speaks to the artistry found in upholstered details and the comfort derived from its stylish frames.

 A MADCAP COLLECTION
EXCLUSIVELY FOR ROBERT ALLEN @ HOME
A Life Well Lived

This new collection of prints, wovens and embroideries was designed to capture the spirit of gracious living.

Large-scale painterly patterns and a vivid and cheerful palette update traditional chintz-like florals and botanicals for today's modern interiors (read: British decorating heritage reinvented in new scales and colors). Most of the collection is 100 percent cotton and introduces fresh hues like Cherry, Daffodil, Celery and Rhubarb. Fabrics can layer beautifully together for full-room looks brimming with that signature Madcap whimsy or used to provide a pop of color and pattern in smaller doses.

oldworld
OLD WORLD WEAVERS FOR
SCALAMANDRE
Dorset Coast Collection

Torquay and Cross Channel are spirited designs that stylishly blend old world with new world.

Torquay is a tribal design speaking to the confluence of trade in the Dorset region. This beautifully geometric motif references a traditional tribal design, while maintaining a sense of modernism with its simplicity. The embroidered motif has a slight sheen, which contrasts a textured raw silk ground, giving the fabric great dimension. When paired next to Cross Channel, another geometric design interpreted in mid-scale and indicative of an enlarged basket weave, a visually soothing combination occurs that is sophisticated and intriguing. Both styles are offered in earthy, natural hues and unexpected pastel tones.
