Notice for Connecticut Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Shield Members
Some small group members who enrolled in plans that meet the Affordable Care Act requirements continue to send premium payments to their old payment address.
Members should mail payments to the correct address listed on their invoices. The correct address for mailing premium payments:

P.O. Box 11792
Newark, NJ 07101-4792
Please include your Group Number with the payment. The Group Number is located to the left of the return address on the part of the invoice that should be returned with payment.

Notice for Massachusetts
On June 10, 2014, the Massachusetts Health Connector Board officially repealed regulations originally enacted in 2006 that relate to Massachusetts' health care reform law. As background, last summer Massachusetts repealed much of the employer-related provision of its health care reform law, primarily because PPACA's was enacted and contains many of the same provisions.
The board's vote officially repeals regulations related to the 2006 law. The repealed regulations include requirements for employers to offer coverage or pay a fine, offer a Section 125 plan to employees and make a fair share contribution toward coverage, as well as a free rider surcharge and a related health insurance responsibility disclosure (HIRD) notice provision. The board voted to repeal those regulations because the underlying statutes have previously been repealed; therefore, the regulations no longer have legal force. While the repeal of regulations is somewhat of a formality, employers may have seen news reports involving this issue recently. There is no official document announcing the vote, but the board has made available its agenda from the meeting in which the vote occurred, and it explains the purpose behind the repeal.
