Dear Global Christian Warriors,
Isn't it time to use His Strategy? A strong call for His Strategy, found in His Word, is planned to be delivered October 15 by Reverend Bill Cook in Virginia:
Message for America Pray Now Prayer Gathering in Richmond
October 15, 2022
As I stand before you today, America is at a spiritual and moral crossroads. The Church’s response to the current crisis will determine the fate of our nation.
More than 800 times in our nation’s history Presidents, Governors, and legislative bodies have made proclamations calling for humiliation, prayer, and repentance, with each instance being honored by God, who has shed his grace without measure on this beautiful nation. Most recently, on September 23, 2022, Governor Lee of Tennessee proclaimed a day of Prayer, Humility and Fasting.
John Adams issued three such proclamations on April 13, 1798, July 23, 1813, and November 16, 1814, calling the people of the United States to public Fasting, Humiliation, and Prayer.
By 1815, colonial, State, and Federal governments had issued 794 separate calls for days of Fasting, Humiliation, and Prayer.
On nine different occasions between 1841 and 1918, seven US Presidents called for days of Fasting and Prayer.
During the American Revolution, Congress issued eight calls to Humiliation, Fasting and Prayer.
In his April 30, 1863 call for a Day of Humiliation, Fasting and Prayer, President Abraham Lincoln expressed timeless sentiments that remain relevant today, “that it is the duty of nations as well as of men to owe their dependence upon the overruling power of God; to confess their sins and transgressions in humble sorrow, yet with assured hope that genuine repentance will lead to mercy and pardon; and to recognize the sublime truths announced in the Holy Scriptures and proven by all history that those nations only are blessed whose God is the Lord…”
In early July this year, Kenya held a 3-day repentance conference, called Kenya Kneels, praying specifically for a violence-free upcoming Presidential election. Pastors came from throughout Kenya attended; they confessed sins of witchcraft, killing of innocents, sexual perversion, tribalism, and violence. Many lay prostrate on the ground in prayer and repentance. For the first time in a Kenyan election, there was no violence; a born-again Christian was elected, and any controversy was adjudicated by Kenya’s Supreme Court in favor of the new President. Not long afterward, the new President of Kenya and his Spirit-filled wife appeared at a stadium, kneeling and thanking God for His miracles in Kenya.
In Uganda, a key senior pastor held a 3-day Uganda Kneels repentance gathering, for the first time bringing together Anglican priests with Pentecostals, which itself was declared a miracle. At the end of the 3-day gathering rain poured down, breaking a protracted drought [Chronicles 7: 13-14; Hosea 6: 1-3]. The rain continued despite not being the rainy season.
Malawi also held a six-day Malawi Kneels repentance event, touching different churches and crossing denominational lines in all corners of that country. Again, the rains fell at the end of the repentance time, and again, the President, appearing in front of his fellow citizens in a stadium at the capitol, fell on his knees and thanked God for beginning to heal his nation. Several days later Malawi was forgiven a major debt owed to the Chinese government.
At the end of September, another three-day repentance gathering took place in Zimbabwe.
In October another three days of repentance was planned in Kenya, in one key region closest to neighboring Islamic nations, for the purpose of breaking off the power of that religion so that many might come into Christ's Kingdom. Healings have been reported. One Kenyan pastor reported that he was able to pray to have a completely demonized person released from that bondage by the Lord, and he prayed for another lady with major spinal issues who the Lord healed.
Another National Day of Repentance is set for Nigeria on November 19. There is also talk of one to take place in Zambia.
Drawing on examples throughout American history and the more recent example being set by our brethren in Africa, Pastor Jeff Daly, “National Day of Repentance,” who provided most of this information, Kevin McGary, “Every Black Life Matters,” and myself have drafted a Proclamation calling for a National Day of Fasting, Prayer, Humiliation and Repentance, with a desire for the proclamation to be published by the 45th President of the United States as well as State governors.
Today as we enter prayer, please ask that God would grant us favor in this endeavor.

Do you want to find others repenting to strengthen your own times of repentance? Please email us for information, pastorjeff@repentday.com, use our repentance materials on our website, www.repentday.com, and join us in our several weekly repentance calls, including a powerful 2 hour Africa Kneels zoom call on Thursdays.
Do you see repentance as vital for our times? To our knowledge National Day of Repentance is the only Christian ministry focusing solely on personal and national repentance in every nation and applying it in our lives.
No church, no denomination supports us, only YOU! Though we work as volunteers, costs and requests for food pour in each day far beyond our capacity to fulfill these requests.
In Luke 8:3 we see three women who understood the mighty move of God in front of them and wished to provide "from their substance." The Lord Jesus tells us in John 14:12 that he who believes in Him will do greater works for the Kingdom because He is now with the Father. We believe this move of His Gift of Repentance, now bursting forth in Africa, is such a work.
Would you please pray for us? And then give from a cheerful heart as the Lord leads? THANK YOU!--whatever amount you give, we pray that you'll receive a blessing--- 2 Corinthians 8: 2-4 and Luke 8:3--- and Fruit that will abound to your spiritual account, Philippians 4:17.
God bless you.
