This Sunday we welcome our new Rector, Father Ken Malcolm
Christ Church is delighted to welcome Father Ken Malcolm, who brings a wealth of experience leading congregations and is particularly gifted in preaching, faith formation, and stewardship. A seasoned educator, he looks forward to leading spiritual formation and growth opportunities for all ages at Christ Church. His leadership skills will help our church continue to fulfill our mission of inviting others, growing deeper, and serving our community and the world. Upon his call, a member of the Rector Discernment Team said, “He feels like an old friend." We can't wait for the start of this beautiful friendship!

This Sunday! Join your church for an afternoon of fall fun for the whole family
Families are invited to come on out to CCE on October 29 at 3 PM for activities, games, light snacks, and fellowship with others. Kiddos are invited to wear their costumes. This is a great opportunity to invite neighbors and friends to church with you!

New! Small Group for Parents
Are you looking for connection and support during the season of raising children? At CCE, we want to help provide a supportive community where we grow and learn together. Small groups are a great way to experience life with others who are on a similar path.
Please consider joining us for a Parents' Small Group interest session on November 18 at 3 p.m. This will be an introduction to small group ministry for parents of young children with good conversation, light snacks, and fun for the kids. The gathering will be at the home of Brian and Jacki Vitiello and childcare will be available.

November 12, 9 & 11 AM: Commissioning Emily McKinney
Join us in worship on Sunday, November 12 at 9 and 11 AM as we commission preschool director Emily McKinney, whose joyful leadership has blessed the CCE Preschool since August.
November 19 at 11 AM: Honoring Cheri Erk
Gather on Sunday, November 19 at 11 AM as we recognize Cheri Erk's lasting impact on the lives of children and their families in her 18 years as Director of the CCE Preschool. You are also invited to make a financial gift in honor of her tremendous ministry. (Gifts are not tax deductible.) After worship, we will gather for a reception in Cheri's honor.

Consider being part of a special Advent Quiet Day with Sara Vale and Father Ken Malcolm
Quiet Days help us experience God as we enter the spiritually rich Advent season, and to disconnect from the "busyness" of December. All are welcome to gather at the beautiful Roslyn Retreat Center on Saturday, December 9, with Sara Vale as she leads meditations to help hear the voice of God through the noise of the holiday season. We will close with a celebration of Holy Eucharist in the Chapel with Father Ken Malcolm. This is a day to quiet your heart to prepare to receive the coming of Christ at Christmas.
