Psalm 37:3-7 (KJV)
3 Trust in the LORD, and do good; so shalt thou dwell in the land, and verily thou shalt be fed.
4 Delight thyself also in the LORD; and he shall give thee the desires of thine heart.
5 Commit thy way unto the LORD; trust also in him; and he shall bring it to pass.
6 And he shall bring forth thy righteousness as the light, and thy judgment as the noonday.
7 Rest in the LORD, and wait patiently for him: fret not thyself because of him who prospereth in his way, because of the man who bringeth wicked devices to pass.
TRUST-
DELIGHT-
COMMIT-
REST!!!
All FOUR things one needs to do, “IN THE LORD!”

I have taken my own advice and read DAILY Psalm 37!!!
It INDEED doth “cleanse my palate” DAILY of all the misinformation, lies, and evil speakings/doings of THIS life......
Just when one thinks this world could not possibly get uglier or more evil.............
As I reread Psalm 37 AGAIN yesterday, I was struck with the Verse:
Psalm 37:5 (KJV)
5 Commit thy way unto the LORD; trust also in him; and he shall bring it to pass.
COMMIT-a primitive root; to roll (literal or figurative) :- commit, remove, roll (away, down, together), run down, seek occasion, trust, wallowStrong's Talking Greek & Hebrew Dictionary.
Recently/SUDDENLY my ancient knees are wearing out!!!
For most of my adult life I have taken great pride in my ability to exercise and walk effortlessly and pain free-SUDDENLY a few months ago that ended????
I am and have been in total shock and denial as I sought and seek medical intervention, of which there is little comfort.
But, FATHER KNOWS BEST!!!
As I reread Psalm 37, the silent Voice of God spoke to me and reassured me that He, INDEED, knew about my aged knees and that He was Lord over my knees, and....
There WAS reasons-REASONS beyond my human understanding:
Isaiah 55:8-9 (KJV)
8 For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the LORD.
9 For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts.
Our bodies were never designed to last eternally!!!
2 Corinthians 4:16 (KJV)
16 For which cause we faint not; but though our outward man perish, yet the inward man is renewed day by day.
Yes, beloved friend, we are all born to die!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The “outward man/woman” will indeed perish-no matter how hard we attempt to “keep fit!!!!”
I felt God impressing me to:
Psalm 37:5 (KJV)
5 Commit thy way unto the LORD; trust also in him; and he shall bring it to pass.
Maybe, at age 72, daily exerting myself physically was NOT what is BEST-for me!!??
Maybe, God was telling me to perhaps slack off a little on EXERCISE-physical exercise?????
1 Timothy 4:8-9 (KJV)
8 For bodily exercise profiteth little: but godliness is profitable unto all things, having promise of the life that now is, and of that which is to come.
9 This is a faithful saying and worthy of all acceptation.
And YES, one can easily make the argument that, AT LEAST, “BODILY EXERCISE” doth INDEED profiteth a “LITTLE'!!!!!!
To this argument I agree!!!!
TODAY, can we at least agree that “FATHER KNOWS BEST” and is THE Father to each of us INDIVIDUALLY!!!!
It is NOT “one size fits all” but our HEAVENLY FATHER knows what's best for EACH of us INDIVIDUALLY.
What is best for YOU is not necessarily best for me and vice-versus!!!!!
TODAY, reread Psalm 37 and TODAY daily read your Bible!!
God does and God desires to speak to each of us INDIVIDUALLY daily!!!
Psalm 119:9-11 (KJV)
9 Wherewithal shall a young man cleanse his way? by taking heed thereto according to thy word.
10 With my whole heart have I sought thee: O let me not wander from thy commandments.
11 Thy word have I hid in mine heart, that I might not sin against thee.
AMEN AND AMEN!!
