To help promote the achievement of boys of color, the RCSD is collaborating with the City of Rochester, My Brother's Keeper Initiative, and a number of community organizations to offer a unique networking opportunity.
Organizations such as Healthi Kids, Healthy Baby Network, and North Star Rites of Passage will offer learning resources, legal information, and other support that will help remove barriers so men in our community can better assist students to achieve academic success.
Studies show that when a father is involved in a student’s life, that child does better academically and has a greater opportunity to graduate, go on to college, and develop the skills necessary for a successful career.
